About Little Woofs Spa
My story
I have always had a special place in my heart for dogs. It started at a very young age when all I wanted for every holiday is a dog. My heart actually ached for one. As my kids grew, I was able to fulfill that ache with 6 dogs of my own. All rescued and equally special.
Through experience with my own dogs and volunteering at a local rescue, I have developed different techniques, tools, and treatments to help with skin and teeth issues. My kids are all grown, so it is my time to offer my talent and services to others. Please see below to continue my journey...
Meet the family...
Hi! I am Amy, holding Justin, the poodle. He is my most recent rescue. He has had a very hard life, he is 8 years old, and has only 3 teeth. I fostered him for many months before I decided I couldn't let anyone else have him. He is the biggest sweetheart!
My daughter, Morra is next to me. She is holding Pickles. I was volunteering at the rescue the day Pickles was surrendered. She jumped right into my arms. I gave her a bath and cleaned out the gunk in her eyes and took her home. My daughter fell instantly in love with her. Pickles is 14 with a grade 5 heart murmur. I am so grateful she has come into our lives.
My oldest daughter, Lorenna is holding Toby, our shih-tzu and Pippy. We rescued Toby as a puppy, but he is our most head strong! Learning to groom him has taken all of my patience and then some! Pippy is our smallest at 5 pds. Pippy thinks he is in charge and with his little bark will try to tell our Great Pyrenees what is what!
My son, Calin is holding Theo. Theo is Toby's best friend. Theo was our very first rescue from Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue in Mukwonago. This little man had a really hard time adjusting to real life. He taught me what it meant to be a true rescue mom.
Nova, our Great Pyrenees was a stray. Weighing only 70 lbs when we got her and had bad skin issues. I am happy to report she is very healthy now and tries not to get too upset with her brothers and sister when they want to play with her toys!
